A 1935 AD FOR THIS REEL SAYS: "For Fresh and Salt Water Fishing"
and then goes on to say "Lake City, 150-yard Light Tackle type" ..... "the action is Tripple Multiplying"
Hard-to-find Ocean City model #215 for lighter weight. The reel has has a Pflueger leather thumb brake added, is unmarked and it appears the green wood knob could be a replacement.
It measures: approx 3-1/4" diameter and 3-1/2" depth (including handle but not knob). The bakelite sides vary slightly in width with one at 3/8" and the other at 1/4". The full foot is 2-7/8" long by 5/8" wide and has continuous wide wings fitting to the ends. The winding ball knob is wood, painted bright green and is pristine. Line spacing distance between the bakelite sides is 1-3/4" wide and 1-1/4" deep. There is some corrosion around the interior spool shaft and on the foot. The bakelite sides are in very nice shape and the the spool turns freely.
